How to judge a pair of speakers?
As the terminal equipment of audio frequency, the speaker is just like the voice of a person, which largely determines the quality of a set of sound. It is no exaggeration to say that choosing a pair of good speakers is the key to the success of a set of sound, and it is not allowed to be careless. Throughout the market, there are many kinds of audio, such as portable speakers, card speakers, small speakers, computer speakers, Bluetooth speakers, mobile karaoke sound, etc., with different quality and prices, so we should have a "golden eye" in the selection of audio. Just like the traditional Chinese medicine "look, smell, ask, cut", we can use "view, weigh, knock, identify" to have a preliminary understanding of the speaker before listening, that is, to observe the technology, weigh the weight, knock the box, and identify the name plate. We can start from the following aspects:
1. Observe the craft
It is from the appearance to judge the quality of the speaker, with the natural wood Seiko built speaker often quality is worth rest assured.
2. Weigh the weight
There is a saying in the sound industry that "the expert looks at the quality, and the layman weighs the weight". A heavy speaker is certainly better than a light one. Good speakers are mostly made of 18mm, 25mm high-quality MDF particle board, and * flagship speakers are made of overweight solid wood such as red sandalwood and yellow pomelo or multi-layer composite plywood, so the weight is amazing. A pair of speakers has a net weight of 50kg. Most of the inferior speakers are made of soft particleboard or even inferior paperboard, so the weight is generally light. In addition, some bad businesses will also take advantage of this habit of consumers, in the box pouring sand and stone cement to increase weight, weigh the weight must be careful.
3. Knock box
Knock the baffle boards on the top, bottom, left, right, and back of the box by hand. If all sides make a solid and slight brittle sound, the board used for the speaker is hard and thick, and there are many stiffeners inside. The box structure is reasonable and strong, with good sound insulation and anti standing wave measures. This kind of box has high cost and difficulty in processing, and there are few fake and inferior products. If the percussion box gives out "puff, puff" empty sound, it means that the board is too thin, the material quality is too poor, the structure is unreasonable, and there is no sound absorption material or reinforcement inside, which leads to the formation of a large number of diffuse reflection and standing waves in the box. This kind of sound box can never achieve good playback effect.
4. Brand recognition
The label * speaker attaches great importance to the brand image and corporate visibility, so the nameplates and labels are very standard and exquisite, and all indicators, enterprise name and origin are available. Real good speakers have a well-made gold-plated or chrome plated nameplates, the nameplates are generally engraved with a distinctive trademark, company, name, place of origin, corresponding indicators, etc. Imported cases are in English. If there is only design or vaguely mark a country's name, even in addition to a few simple and very lax basic indicators, we can not see the origin, the manufacturer's trademark and no registration mark, most of these three no products have the suspicion of counterfeiting and shoddy.
